Mabe

Alright, I have a new character for a new story that's been on my brain for the past few weeks.

Meet Mabe Jeffries! It's short for Mabelina, which she hates because her mother named her that, and she gets all the bad jokes due to her line of work - she's a stage make-up artist.

Mabe's got a real cynical outlook on life, having been born with precognitive powers that forced her to watch her own midlife crisis unfold when she was eleven years old. These powers, she's however discovered, are repressed by nicotine. Therefore she's been a habitual smoker since the eigth grade.

She looks anorexic, I know... she's supposed to be unhealthily thin. She's already slender naturally, but the combination of the large number of cigarettes she goes through in a day, and the fact that she doesn't really care to take proper care of herself, has lead to this waif of a physique.

I am by no way implying that smokers are all scrawny angry stick bugs, nor am I saying that this is a great way to get really thin. It's all just part of her character.

Anyway, her story is being written in first person narritive, and I'm having WAY too much fun with it ^^
